I interviewed for an open position here a couple months ago, thought my interview went well, and said I was willing to go on with next steps. I sent a very nice thank you email following my interview, and got a response saying they’re pursuing other applicants. I thought this was rude considering they didn’t even give me a chance to move onto next steps after they asked me and do a practice project showcasing my abilities. Maybe after that, I would’ve accepted a ‘no’ a little better. Fast forward to today, I see them still posting how the position is open and I laughed. My point I’m trying to get across is employers cannot be so picky. If someone has the drive and spirit to get things done, take a chance on them. I’d rather have an employee that doesn’t have too much experience in the field and train them the way you want to versus someone with experience that won’t budge of out of their old ways.

If they agree with you, I am sure Market Mentors can be pleasant to work with. But if they don't, what you are going to get is a lot of lip service and not a lot of genuine action. The thoughts weren't original or good, and I am not impressed with the communication and attitude I received from this company. I own a local business and I'll be going elsewhere for my marketing needs. I guess we weren't a big enough company for them to care.

They pick and chose who to market for and prejudice against small business owners. They had the audacity to suggest I could not afford their services, yet refused to tell me what the cost would be or to even talk with me, just sent me an email saying we are not a good fit. I am completely disgusted with the way I was treated and how my business was looked down upon. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!
