I was disappointed with EWR’s SEO work for our company. While I understood that results take time, their approach felt outdated and misaligned with current trends. I also started my own YouTube channel early in the year, and I suspect that some of the additional traffic we saw came from that effort rather than their work. Early on, I asked specifically whether they incorporated AI search tools; I was told “yes,” but this turned out to be untrue. Only at the end of our contract did they present new “AI packages,” which felt like an upsell rather than something they were already prepared to deliver. The presentations were largely boilerplate, at times even showing names of other companies. Reports lacked meaningful customization, and blog posts were poorly formatted with little internal linking or strategy — work I ultimately had to correct myself. For an SEO company, aesthetics and structure should have been a strength. I was also concerned by tactics such as duplicating entire web pages with minimal edits, which led to client confusion and could pose SEO risks. Their communication was inconsistent, and offboarding was sloppy — they claimed all accounts were removed, yet several were left active. Overall, I felt their services were oversold, under-delivered, and not aligned with the direction SEO is heading. Companies looking for partners who are current on AI-driven search and who provide thoughtful, professional execution may want to look elsewhere. NOTE: Nobody cut you off abruptly. The emails show that you gave us the detail directions when to remove you and who to attribute the content to, even though not all your associates had been removed and you had left the schema files showing on our website in plain sight. The emails show you apologizing for the errors made twice.

It’s interesting - I actually discovered EWR Digital by prompting ChatGPT to do a “deep search” for Google AdWords/PPC agencies in Texas, based on a few specific criteria I had in mind. The LLM search/prompt brought back about ten options, including a few agencies I’d worked with in the past but didn’t want to revisit. EWR Digital stood out among some new names I hadn’t come across before. As I reviewed each agency’s website, EWR checked more of my boxes than the others. Their content, portfolio, client brands, and detailed case studies really spoke to the quality of their work. I reached out to them on behalf of a plumbing company I represent and booked a free consultation. The overall experience was excellent - Geoff and Matt were both great to speak with, and I really appreciated the chance to learn more about their approach and how they run their business and services they provide. If you're looking for a solid agency that seems to have some great expertise in the Google AdWord space - give them a shout!
