I would definitely recommend 8 Signal to my colleagues and friends. Working with the 8 Signal team was effortless. I believe your communication was what worked really well for this project. The value journey/target audience exercises were very valuable and beneficial elements of the whole process. I can’t thank the 8 Signal team enough. Also migrating to WordPress was so invaluable. The CMS is very easy for any one of our staff members to understand and learn to use. Without you guys we’d still be waiting for someone else to update our content offsite. There’s one minor display issue on mobile for the homepage of our Friends website. Based on my experience with your team, I’m sure that will be fixed as soon as possible. The project was managed very well and we now have two attractive and up-to-date websites with a smooth user experience. It has been a pleasure working with all of you.

We really enjoyed working with Danie and the whole 8 Signal team. We found it very helpful to have already read the StoryBrand book, but the 8 Signal team helped us look at how we could apply that content to our own marketing strategy. The 8 Signal team are very good listeners and were accurate in their summaries of our goals, projects, and meetings. We realized a few new things, too, when we saw our marketing from their point of view. We're thinking about working with 8 Signal again in the future in two ways: Creating a brochure about our company Reviewing our new website (when it's complete) and tweaking to make sure we are on point.

We worked with 8 Signal to help us complete a website with advanced programming that included API integration, member management, and gated content. Part of what made this project work so well for us was the ability to meet regularly with their technical support team and we were able to reach out for updates/changes. It would have been nice to have a more in-depth questionnaire at the start of the project to avoid misunderstanding, find gaps in shared understanding. Overall, the final product was done quite well and we would recommend 8 Signal to others seeking help with any advanced website projects.

I am a huge fan and supporter of 8 Signal and would 10/10 recommend 8 Signal to any and all. I’m very excited to show everyone the finished website design and brag 8 Signal up to everyone I come across. From what I’ve seen to date - I will put the design of the site up against any. The logo and colors are simply magnificent and the web design is really beyond expectations at this stage at least. 8 Signal even got me to change the name of the site - you have no idea the level of trust that is required to earn that from me - and they did it. If I could change anything about my experience so far, it would be to have more established timeframes and project milestones. For my project, I purposely didn’t push timelines to allow for creative flow, which worked out well for me since this is a passion project and I’m still working on my own content deliverables for launch. With most people, however, I anticipate that to avoid issues 8 Signal should establish guideposts for the different stages - website design development, milestones, deliverables, what the client can expect for input, etc. This would go a long way in taking the mystery out of a completely foreign process for the client. I also think it would be helpful to have the client meet with the creatives themselves (graphic designers, writers, etc.). Just putting me directly in touch with Amanda briefly to work through the Twitter account and Instagram account was a huge time saver. To have included her upfront in the logo process would have been incredibly helpful - at least to me. Spending more time with me upfront could have actually saved time on editing and corrections on the back end. Overall, the way 8 Signal presented themselves and invited dialogue on the issues at hand was very good. They made me feel heard, which is important. At the end of the day - that’s 8 Signal’s big win - they built trust in a guy who is otherwise very wary and highly cynical of the world (it's a professional hazard of being a lawyer). I look forward to a long-term working relationship with 8 Signal as this passion project builds over time.

The only people I wouldn’t recommend 8 Signal to is my competition! But to everyone else, I would highly recommend these guys. 8 Signal gave us focus on who our identity was. When we came to them, we were really lost and didn't know who we were as a company, so they gave us kind of a voice there. They also did really well keeping us on track and following up and having an overall strategy and overall plan that we lacked before we worked with 8 Signal. One of the things I really like is that they're always coming up with new ideas. For example, they suggested blog content for us and that was a really great idea. Every time we meet they have something to present that shows me what they are doing behind the scenes. I don't have time to think about all our marketing, but I don't have to because I know 8 Signal is thinking about it. I find a lot of value in that. The alternative is, we would have no web presence if it wasn't for them.
